American Society of Furniture Designers Announces Jay Reardon as Keynote Speaker

Jay Reardon, industry veteran, will be the keynote speaker at the ASFD 2014 Spring Market Dinner. Reardon will address, Sustaining the Value of Design, 3 Secrets to Make your Concepts Payoff.

Registration is now open for the dinner, which will be held at the String and Splinter Club in High Point on Monday, April 7, 2014 at 6pm. The associationʼs annual spring event is open to all ASFD members and market attendees with a reservation. In addition to the keynote address, highlights of this yearʼs dinner will include the Bienenstock Furniture Library presentation of the 2013-14 Design Competition Winners and the 2014 ASFD touching lives by design Merit Scholarship Winner. Proceeds from the annual ASFD event benefit the organizationʼs scholarship fund.

A native of Atlanta, Ga., Reardon lives in Hickory, North Carolina. An industry consultant and sought after speaker, he has addressed the National Economic Development Conference, the Council on Competitiveness, The NC Department of Commerce Manufacturing Summit and others and has been featured in numerous articles on Lean Enterprise, Employee Empowerment and Servant Leadership.
