Furniture World News Desk on 2/10/2016

The 31st Annual Thailand International Furniture Fair (TIFF) announced that the next show is scheduled for March 9-13, 2016.

Show management anticipates that over 15,000 local visitors and close to 5,000 international trade visitors will attend the show that includes a comprehensive collection of home furniture, interior furnishings, accessories, office furniture, plus furniture making machinery, materials and parts.

The fair, held in Bangkok, Thailand offers unique ambiance and style. It  is produced each year in  March by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, under the Royal Thai Government, Thai Furniture Industry Club, The Federation of Thai Industries and The Thai Furniture Industries Association.

TIFF 2016, say the promoters of the show, "represents ingenious ideas, new innovation, and the latest collections of decoration products. This year's event will be organized under the theme of “ASEAN Smart Living” and will focus on how Thailand’s image as a center of ASEAN furniture production and trading harmoniously meets the diverse needs of modern buyers."

TIFF is open to all segments of the furniture industry including home furnishing retailers, importers, and designers, as well as  their suppliers. Pre-Registration or registration at the fair is required, with no admission fee. However, during the public days, all are welcome.

The following benefits will serve as key incentives for those who attend:

  • A wide selection of furniture products from local and handmade to high-end design;

  • An ideal platform for leading furniture companies, producers, entrepreneurs, exporters, importers, and designers to showcase their latest collections;

  • A great opportunity to leverage business in one of the fastest growing, emerging regions of the world, with a population of 600 million;

  • Meet buyers, importers, designers, developers, and owners of furniture showrooms from Japan, USA, Europe, ASEAN, India, Middle East, Africa, Australia, etc.;

  • Free business matching by the Department of International Trade Promotion;

  • Free advertising on www.thailandfurniture.com

“The fairs' common denominators are tradition, knowledge, creativity and innovation, taking seriously the challenge of creating new products and brands. We all desire good design, in a highly developed furniture industry, which in turn, is able to successfully adapt to new market challenges.” said Malee Choklumlerd, Director-General Department of International Trade Promotions, Ministry of Commerce.

The show promoters promise that, "buyers and designers to visit TIFF this year will take a journey that encompasses the conceptual planning, aesthetics and technical solutions needed to achieve success in the furniture industry. TIFF recognizes it’s more than a Fair which concerns itself with the visual or ambient enhancements; it seeks to harmonize products shown with the environment in which they will be placed. Our industry at it's best is about more than just designing, building, and selling furniture, it’s about artistry."
