Therapedic Offers Full Slate Of Products At Summer Las Vegas Market

Furniture World News Desk on 7/24/2016

Therapedic recently reported that, at this years summer market, it showing a full slate of products including three debut lines set to be unveiled at the company’s showroom, World Market Center B-946 .

One line, which the company believes will be music to the ears of retailers, is called Bravura, and is being dubbed as the ‘sound of sleep.’

The initial specialty line, which will be followed by two additional companion lines, is a four model memory foam and latex collection named after classic rock albums Silk Degrees, Sticky Fingers, Rubber Soul and Pet Sounds. All four models feature copper-infused top layers of either memory foam or latex.

Studies have shown numerous beneficial properties of copper, including anti-aging, the ability to encourage brain stimulation during sleep, being naturally anti-inflammatory and non-allergenic as well as for having the ability to improve circulation by increasing and promoting circulatory function.

The new sleep systems are available in a 10” model, two 11” models and a 13” model with retail prices for queen configurations ranging from $1,299 to $3,999.

Therapedic will also introduce Innergy 2, a collection of two-sided mattresses said to offer double the comfort, support and durability of conventional mattresses.

The company describes Innergy 2 as updated versions of Therapedic’s classic 2-sided program, with the new iterations available in three ranging from 13” to 15”. Featuring and alternating LFK coil unit and a mix of zoned plush foam, comfort foams and high performance gel foams, a queen set carries suggested retails ranging from $799 to $999.

Following a strong reception and brisk dealer demand at the April High Point market, the company will also be showing Agility by Therapedic, its successful bed-in-a-box program.
As with other Therapedic sleep systems, Agility by Therapedic also features multiple layers of different foams, but what makes these products unique is the fact that they also feature a layer of micro-coils encased in a supple, mesh-fabric to assist in the folding and compression of the product.

According to Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic’s president and CEO, “the additional benefit of micro-coils is that they offer enhanced support and also provide a more agile sleep surface than most of the current products on the market.”

Designed as a performance product, Agility is available with or without a knockdown foundation and can ship either directly to the retailer or to the consumer. Available now, the mattresses carry suggested retails ranging from $999 to $1,199.

Therapedic will also be showing three models of its “super hybrid” line under the Tommy Bahama label—Barbados, Grand Cayman and Nevis, officials said.

These three models features Leggett & Platt’s Combi-Quantum edge pocketed coil, which offers a unique edge-to-edge support. The line also features the company’s new Visco Floating Foam for exceptional comfort.

“The beds with the Quantum unit and Visco Floating Foam will feel like no others,” said Borreggine. He explained that by using Visco Floating Foam, the company offers consumers increased comfort, a highly breathable foam for increased airflow, durability superior to that of conventional visco foam and a unique, innovative feel.

Suggested retails for queen-sized Tommy Bahama “super hybrid” mattresses range from $1,699to $2,499.
Also on display will be the new EcoGel Flex beds, also ready for full release after a concept showing last year.

The EcoGel Flex beds share some similarities with leading brands’ bed-in-a-box programs, but the program offers a noteworthy difference: This bed comes with an adjustable bed base and will be delivered, via white glove delivery, right to the consumer’s bedroom.

Consumers will be able to see and feel the EcoGel Flex line in a dealer’s showroom. The dealer will have the bed shipped from Therapedic’s fulfillment house to the consumer’s bedroom. This program eliminates much of the heavy handling typically associated with the sale of an adjustable bed and bed base. Therapedic expects this to be a strong program for the small-to-medium sized dealers, officials said.
Suggested retails for a queen set range from $2,999 to $4,999.
