STORIS Announces new Certified Beta Upgrade Program

STORIS recently announced their new Certified Beta Upgrade Program. This program will offer incentives for clients choosing to take part in the beta testing of upcoming STORIS releases. Each new STORIS release will be supported by several client Beta volunteers. Gardner Village located in West Jordan, Utah was among the first clients to participate in the Certified Beta Upgrade Program.

Controller for Gardner Village, Mark Bradley, noted that their team was impressed by how much they gained by being part of the beta program. Two members of the production team went onsite to work directly with Gardner Village in their retail environment. The team helped Gardner Village optimize their processes by using new capabilities within the software, which cut down on their process times and improved the user experience regarding access to information.

President Angie Gerdes & Controller Mark Bradley commented, “Beta testing was a wonderful experience. By having experts on site to introduce the new features and functionality, we were able improve many of our processes and utilize the system to its fullest. Throughout the process we received outstanding interactive communications and the team was wonderful to work with. STORIS was so responsive to our needs and helped us improve our business’ functionality in so many different ways. We would participate again in a minute.”

During the beta testing period, the client’s responsibility is to test the product and report any suggestions in a timely manner. Their opinions have a strong voice in the final release, providing the retailer with a powerful say in the direction of STORIS. As part of the Beta Program, the client has access to development incentives.

Vice President of Development Production, Dom Costantino, stated, “Quality Assurance of all new releases is one of the most critical parts of our production process. Part of the reason we are able to consistently deliver new releases to our clients is their support in beta testing new revisions. Our clients functional testing in their real-world retail environments assures the product’s readiness. We wanted to create a program that acknowledged our clients valuable role in this process.”
