HFA Announces 2018 Retailer of the Year Nominees

Furniture World News Desk on 5/21/2018

The Home Furnishings Association (HFA) recently announced the nominees for its 2018 Retailer of the Year awards, which honor outstanding retailers who represent exceptional examples of philanthropy, technology, customer experience, mentoring, sustainability and store design/merchandising. Candidates are considered in two categories—sales volume under $10 million and sales volume $10 million or above.

A selection committee, comprised of HFA members, manufacturers, service providers/suppliers, independent sales reps, and industry officials and media, will review the nominations. Winners will be announced during a press conference Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 11:00am in HFA Retailer Resource Center – B1050 during the Summer Las Vegas Furniture Market.

The HFA will also recognize an Emerging Star and Trailblazer, which acknowledge retailers who’ve successfully jumped into the industry with both feet and those who’ve made a career out of forging new roads, respectively.

All awards will be presented during the Retailer of the Year Celebration on September 15 at the HFA’s Insights 2018 Conference in Minneapolis. www.hfainsights.org
