Remarkable Woman 2023 to Be Announced at Homemakers Furniture

The winner of the Remarkable Women initiative will be announced on WHO 13’s “Hello Iowa!” show on Wednesday, March 29 at 11 a.m. The announcement will take place at Homemakers Furniture in Urbandale. Nominations were submitted by the public and the four finalists were selected to be considered for this honor. As of Monday, Roberta Yoder of Urbandale, Jeriann McLaughlin of Ballard, and Carla Becker of Norwalk have been announced as finalists. The fourth finalist will be announced on March 28 on WHO 13.

This program’s aim is to recognize the contributions women have made in their community through strong leadership and development. This will be Homemakers fourth year sponsoring the Remarkable Women program.

Interviews with each finalist and the winner announcement will be recorded at Homemakers showroom. The winner will progress to the semi-finalist round which is conducted by region. Next, the semi-finalists will move forward to the final national round to determine the Nexstar 2023 Remarkable Woman of The Year.
