The recent unveiling of the Tamara Day by Spectra Home upholstery collection at the October High Point Market has generated positive feedback from retail buyers and interior designers. They are enthusiastic about offering their customers a fresh perspective on comfortable and stylish upholstery. Tamara Day, celebrated for her approach to creating glamorous yet cozy living environments and her role as the host of the Magnolia Network’s popular show, "Bargain Mansions," has partnered with Spectra Home to develop an upholstery seating collection that appeals to contemporary consumers. The collection is expected to hit retail stores by early March.
Jim Telleysh, president of Spectra Home, expressed satisfaction with the initial response to the collaboration. "We were extremely pleased with the strong opening results from our new collaboration with Tamara Day," Telleysh commented. "At the October Market, we engaged with many of our long-standing retail partners and established a record number of new accounts. The interest in the Tamara Day collection and the subsequent orders have accelerated the production and delivery process, with Tamara’s extensive fan base eagerly anticipating the collection’s launch this spring."
The collection's appeal is attributed to its design principles, which include clean lines, functionality, and durability, catering to family and pet-friendly living spaces. "Tamara understands how the modern family lives today, so we designed this new collection to meet their evolving lifestyle needs," Telleysh noted, highlighting the Nall group's easy-to-clean performance fabric and practical storage solutions.
Tamara Day shared her enthusiasm for the Sagamore Sofa group, noting its unique yet traditional appeal through cool, neutral blue tones. Her design philosophy emphasizes versatility, allowing for a mix-and-match approach to personalize spaces.
Additionally, Spectra Home has committed to supporting the Common Thread for the Cure Foundation, which aids individuals in the furnishings and design industries battling breast cancer, by donating a portion of the proceeds from the Tamara Day collection.
Looking ahead, Spectra Home plans to expand the collection by 50% for the upcoming April High Point Market. The collection is available for viewing in Spectra Home's showroom and at the spring Market.
