International Market Centers announced that Las Vegas Market continues to cement itself as The market for mattress/bedding with new and expanding showrooms, product introductions and bedding-focused programming slated for Winter 2019 Las Vegas Market, running Jan. 27 - Jan. 31, 2019.

“Las Vegas Market is a platform for the top 14 bedding manufacturers to introduce new product and unveil the latest technologies,” said Scott Eckman, president of furniture and home décor leasing for International Market Centers. “As David Perry, longtime bedding expert and executive editor for Furniture Today, says, Las Vegas Market is the ‘springboard for the [bedding] industry’s major introductions’ and a place where every major producer launches its new lines.’”

First-Ever Bedding CEO Summit Debuts at Las Vegas Market

For the first time this winter, Las Vegas Market will host the Bedding CEO Summit in partnership with LOGICDATA and Furniture Today. The summit will feature an educational roundtable discussion with bedding thought leaders on the 2019 forecast for motion/adjustables within the bedding category and will be moderated by David Perry. Confirmed participants include: Johannes Gradwohl, chief executive officer of LOGICDATA; Jay Thompson, president of Leggett & Platt Adjustable Bed Group; Martin Rawls-Meehan, founder and chief executive officer of Reverie; and Phil Sherman, president of Customatic. The conference will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Monday Jan. 28 in World Forum on B16.

Perry believes the adjustable bed base category, which also includes adjustable base-friendly mattresses, will be a much sought-after category at Winter Market.

“The adjustable bed base category is a rising star in the bedding marketplace, giving retailers higher tickets and giving consumers greater levels of product satisfaction,” Perry said. “I’m looking forward to getting the predictions and insights of these adjustable bed base leaders as the industry gathers for January Las Vegas Market, the official launch platform for major introductions for 2019.”

“I’m looking forward to discussing predictions and insights of adjustable bases along with other leaders as the bedding industry gathers for the most important market,” Gradwohl said. “This really will be an unprecedented conversation to benefit the entire industry and we’re honored to share our expertise.”
