Restonic and Roger Magowitz of The Mattress Firm To Support Ante 4 Autism Event During Vegas Market

Autism speaks announced that Restonic Mattress Company has agreed to donate $25 for each person that visits the Restonic space at World Market Center, Las Vegas, to one of 3 charities during the market. The three designated charities are Autism Speaks, Habitat for Humanity and Make A Wish. 

Each Attendee will get to designate their charity.  “We feel honored that Restonic would include Autism Speaks as one of their designated charities for this upcoming market” said Co-Host Doug Krinsky.  We encourage all furniture retailers, buyers, and suppliers to stop by the space in Building B, 926 during the market to help these great charities.  
       
Restonic will also unveil a special promotion at this market, for the month of April, during Autism Awareness month.  The event will feature a special marketing push with newspaper ads, in store signage and a limited edition Restonic/Autism Speaks bear to anyone that test rests a Restonic bed during the promotion.  A donation will also be made for each bed sold by the participating retailer.  Donations will also be taken from consumers at point of sale. 

In addition, Roger Magowitz, Charitable Advisor, The Mattress Firm, has signed up to play in the poker event.  "We look forward to having Roger play in our event.  He is an industry veteran that gives back like few have ever done in the industry and we are honored that Roger would support us and our event," said Doug Krinsky, parent of a child with Autism and Sales Manager for the Restonic Mattress Company.

The event will be held at Binion’s Poker room Tuesday 1/25/11 at 7 PM.  The Texas Hold’em Tournament will benefit Autism Speaks, whose mission is to increase awareness about the growing Autism epidemic and raise funds for research, family services and advocacy in local communities and nationwide.

Players, must be 21 years of age, and can register through the day of the tournament online at www.ramarketing.com/ante4autism.  All players will receive an Autism Speaks t-shirt, pin and a special limited edition 3rd Annual 2011 Ante 4 Autism souvenir coin.  The winner will receive the Third Annual Ante 4 Autism Grand Prize winner’s plaque, as well as a portion of the proceeds.  The entry fee is $125, and $50 of each entry goes directly to Autism Speaks. 

Donations are also being accepted, even if you cannot play in the tournament. Each $50 donation will receive a raffle entry for prizes that will be awarded at the tournament, including a Tempur-Pedic queen set of bedding, a Restonic queen set of bedding, a Twin X Long Power Base from Leggett and Platt, and more.
