Best Chairs Becomes Best Home Furnishings

After more than 40 years of doing business as Best Chairs, the furniture manufacturer has announced that they will now be identified and branded as Best Home Furnishings. The new name reflects the steady evolution of Best's product list, which has grown to include recliners, gliders, chaise loungers, motion sofas, office furniture and more. The introduction of a new line of stationary sofas made the name change unavoidable. "After talking with many retailers in the industry, we found there has been a common misconception of what people think we actually manufacture," says Brian Lange, vice president of Sales & Marketing. "We feel that a change to Best Home Furnishings will broaden people's perception of what we are, and also allows for endless opportunities of product diversification in the future." The name change included a subtle revision to the logo to make the "Best" name more prominent, while retaining the company's familiar blue diamond. Changes were kept to a minimum to communicate that while Best has grown, they have not changed philosophies. "The company itself is will remain Best Chairs, Inc. & Best Home Furnishings will become a division of that entity," says Lange. "We are still a family-owned and operated business whose spirit and company philosophy will remain the same. Quality, service, commitment and industry leadership is what we stand for, that will never change." Best Home Furnishings, formerly known as Best Chairs, is a forty-two year old upholstered furniture manufacturer. With facilities in five Southern Indiana locations and over 1000 employees, Best Home Furnishings is a leader in the production of chairs, recliners, glide rockers, office chairs, motion sofas and stationary sofas.
