USA BABY, a leading specialty retailer of infant and children’s furniture and accessories, has opened a new store in Fresno, California at the southeast corner of Shaw and Willow Avenues. This new store opened on November 9th and is located at 786 West Shaw Avenue, in the Willow Plaza Shopping Center. Lucky & Jatinder Malhi are the owners of the new USA BABY retail store. This is their first USA BABY franchise, and they are excited about having the opportunity to help the people of the greater Fresno metro area with their needs as new parents. According to Lucky, “USA BABY is a great place to shop; we carry everything new parents need. We are a one-stop specialty retail infant and children's furniture store.” He added, “Our entire philosophy focuses around customer service. We want to differentiate ourselves from the ‘big box’ baby stores that provide little-to-no service. We see our job as one of educating our customers so that they can make the best decision for themselves.” In fact, this is why the Malhi’s went into business; they wanted to help new parents find what they want and need for their babies. According to Jatinder, “Having a baby is a special time in a person's life. We want to help parents provide for their children’s most basic needs. Building memories is an important part of building a family, and through our business we can provide families the things they need to help build the kinds of good memories that will last for generations.” “When our daughter was born,” Lucky recalled, “we found a very limited number of choices in the Fresno area for infants’ furniture and accessories. This drove us to look for opportunities to fill what we felt was a real need. In doing our research, we came across USA BABY and really liked what we saw.” He said, “After meeting with members from the USA BABY corporate team, we felt we would have a good match and working relationship, and that this was definitely a great fit with the need that exists in the Fresno area. Lucky served as the Logistics Manager and Production Manager for Grundfos Pumps Manufacturing Corp. in Fresno. The Malhi’s live in Fresno with their 2½ year-old daughter, Iman.
