Preparations Underway for 2025 imm cologne in January

Furniture World News Desk on 4/18/2024

After a well-received imm cologne in January 2024, the next iteration of the Interior Business Event is set for January 12-16, 2025. Organizers plan to enhance the trade fair's established formats to deliver a more effective and engaging experience for exhibitors and trade visitors, fostering greater collaboration within the industry.

The previous event, themed "Connecting Communities," facilitated networking and industry dialogue. The trade fair welcomed approximately 750 domestic and international exhibitors and 42,000 trade visitors from 129 countries, offering a platform for industry professionals to connect and gather inspiration from a variety of creative interior design ideas.

Bernd Sanden, Director of imm cologne, comments on the event's impact: “The positive feedback from the market clearly proves that imm cologne is still an important source of momentum for the sector. Especially in today’s challenging market conditions, it helps the industry to stimulate fresh interest both on the retail side and in the media. With this in mind, we are pushing ahead with our plans with even more energy and anticipation in order to continue our success and shape the future of the furniture industry together.”

Innovative Concepts for imm cologne 2025

"The Circles" concept from 2024, which emphasized interconnected content areas, will be further expanded due to its positive reception. The next event promises new hall concepts in the Pure, Home, and Sleep segments, along with specialized participation formats for exhibitors.

The imm cologne Summit, a collaborative effort with the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDM) and the Federal Association of German Furniture & Kitchen Retailers (BVDM), will continue to explore the industry's potential.

The Pure Talents Contest, having received a record number of entries, is set to be another key attraction in 2025.

With a commitment to advancing the industry, Koelnmesse is actively preparing for imm cologne 2025, with the early-booking phase for exhibitors open until April 30, 2024.
