Agren Launches Marketing Campaign for Two-Sided Mattresses

Agren, a Maine-based retailer with seven stores, has introduced a new marketing campaign,
“You Just Need A Great Flippin Mattress,” highlighting the benefits of two-sided mattresses. The
campaign, developed in partnership with mattress manufacturer Gold Bond, includes a humorous video series and a
dedicated landing page, www.flippinmattresses.com,
promoting the products and their advantages.
The campaign features vignettes of actors portraying mattress shoppers, each suggestively referencing the
“Flippin Mattress.” The scenes culminate in a celebratory dance, drawing attention to the two-sided
mattress offerings. The website describes the products as “crafted in New England, double-sided and delivered
to your home with complimentary next-day shipping.”
Jason Pauley, Chief Operating Officer of Agren, explained the appeal of two-sided mattresses: “A new generation
of consumers—many of whom never heard of two-sided mattresses—are waking up to the concept. They are
longer lasting and really add tremendous value to the purchase at any price point.”
Gold Bond serves as the private label partner for Agren’s two-sided mattress program, a collaboration rooted in
