Evert Slijper, executive vice president of sales & marketing at Whittier Wood Furniture, is transitioning to Chairman of the Board after a 50-year career in the furniture industry. In his new role, he will provide strategic guidance for the next generation of leadership at the family-owned manufacturer.

Scott Whittier (CEO), Anna Tower (COO), and Daniel Marshall (VP) will continue to oversee the company’s daily operations. Erik Chapman, recently appointed National Sales Manager, along with long-time Marketing Manager Conni Barofsky and other experienced team members, will continue to uphold Whittier Wood Furniture’s commitment to customer service and hardwood furniture production.
