Ashley Opens New Store in Gurnee, Illinois, and Supports Local Teen Center with Furniture Donation

Ashley will open its newest retail location in Gurnee, Illinois, on Saturday, April 12. The new 40,000-square-foot showroom, located at 6050 Gurnee Mills Circle E, marks Ashley’s 32nd store in the state.

To commemorate the opening, Ashley will host a public Grand Opening event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST at the new location. The event will include activities such as a live DJ, face painting, refreshments from local vendors, a bouquet bar workshop, and hourly prize giveaways. The first 50 guests will receive a free Stanley Tumbler, and a grand prize drawing will award a 50-inch television. Registration for the workshop and event details are available online.

The Gurnee showroom features Ashley’s latest 7.0 store concept, designed with a simplified, open floor plan. The store includes a dedicated mattress gallery featuring products from Ashley Sleep®, Stearns & Foster®, Nectar, and Tempur-Pedic. Lifestyle vignettes showcase complete room settings across categories such as bedroom, dining, living room, home office, youth furniture, recliners, and accessories.

As part of its community engagement efforts, Ashley is donating a furniture makeover to the Gurnee Teen Center. The makeover is intended to enhance the space used for its after-school drop-in program, which offers teens a safe environment for social connection and educational enrichment.

The furniture installation will take place this spring, with Teen Center staff collaborating with Ashley to select pieces that align with the center’s needs for comfort and functionality.

The Gurnee Ashley store will employ approximately 10 people. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.
