High Point University To Publish Furnishings Research Newsletter

High Point University announced that it is publishing its inaugural issue of “The Home Front” during the spring 2009 High Point Market.
 
The furnishings research newsletter will be produced biannually by The Knabusch-Shoemaker International School of Home Furnishings and Design at HPU. Named for the co-founders of the La-Z-Boy Company, the Knabusch-Shoemaker School is a leading center for education and research on the furnishings industry. The newsletter contains contributions from HPU professors and researchers about the latest research focusing on the industry.
 
“The Home Front” will help businesses to learn about industry trends, align marketing strategies and strengthen their companies, even in difficult times.

About the Knabusch-Shoemaker School: In the university’s Earl N. Phillips School of Business, the Knabusch-Shoemaker School offers two furnishings-related degrees, the Bachelor of Science in Home Furnishings and the Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
