High Point Offers Free Minor Medical Services To Market Attendees

The High Point Market Authority announced that free minor medical clinic services will be provided to Market visitors through a cooperative effort between Cornerstone, High Point Regional Health System and the High Point Market Authority. Services will be available Saturday, April 25 and run through Wednesday, April 29 from 10 am until 5 pm, closing at 1 pm on Thursday, April 30. James C. Anderson, MD, founder and manager of the project, confirmed that the free minor medical care will be provided from the Hospital's HOPE Unit, which will be parked in a central location on Wrenn Street, behind Hotel High Point. Cornerstone providers will man the 44-foot-long bus-like healthcare facility. “This is the twelfth Market that we have provided minor medical care and we continue to receive a tremendous positive response. We appreciate the ongoing support from the team at the Market First Aid Center Medical care providers will be prepared to treat headache, cough, ear ache, vomiting/diarrhea, rashes, sinusitis, stomach ache, conjunctivitis, bladder infection, allergy symptoms and other minor conditions.
