Indiana Furniture’s President and CEO, Rich Slayton, announced the promotion of Bret Ackerman to Executive Vice President. Bret is being promoted from his current position of Vice President of Finance and CFO. He has held this position for 12 years with Indiana Furniture.
Ackerman will be responsible for day to day operations of Indiana Furniture. Reporting to Bret will be Mike Blessinger, VP of Sales and Marketing, Mark Plummer, VP of Manufacturing, Nancy Wilson, VP of Human Resources and Bernie Kreilein, Director of Finance and Controller.
Bernie Kreilein is being promoted from his current position of Senior Cost accountant. Kreilein has been with Indiana Furniture for 8 years. In his new position, Kreilein will supervise Credit, Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting and Purchasing functions at Indiana Furniture, as well at Information Technology, Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement.
Rich Slayton will continue to focus on strategic planning, facility planning and sustainability efforts for Indiana Furniture.
