Home Furnishings supply chain leader Zenith Global Logistics announced that it has launched a new Web site with enhanced graphics, newly developed marketing materials and a portal for customers to access real-time information on critical supply chain events.
“We chose the animation for Zenith Global’s new site to give visitors a visual representation of our worldwide capabilities,” says Michael Echerd, Business System Manager and project manager for the site launch. “We’ve also posted PDFs of new marketing materials developed this spring, which offer more details on the depth and breadth of our services and in-house expertise. It’s the Web portal, however, that our team and our customers are most excited about.”
“Zenith Global’s Web portal offers complete visibility and event management 24/7, which gives our customers the intelligence they need to manage their supply chain efficiently and effectively,” Echerd remarks. “Wholesalers and distributors can view both total inventory and allocated inventory, both of which are vital for managing customer orders and inventory replenishments. Shipment events are also fully visible in real time simply by logging on. Plus, customers have the option to sign up for advance shipping notices, which gives them event information as it occurs so they can better manage staffing levels and delivery schedules.”
“Retailers also benefit from the information available through the Zenith Global Web portal,” Echerd continues. “With a few clicks and keystrokes, for example, a retail salesperson can quickly and accurately answer consumers’ questions about order status and delivery timing.” The URL for the newly launched site is www.zenithcompanies.com.
