Elite Leather , one of America’s leading furniture manufacturers, has brought in seasoned retail professional, Michael Schloemer, as Director of Retail Relations. This progressive addition to Elite Leather’s team offers a welcomed advancement to strenghten retail and customer relations, as well as an opportunity to develop innovative sales strategies in the new marketplace.
Prior to Elite Leather, Schloemer was Director of Retail Sales for contemporary retailer Rubin’s Furniture, one of Elite Leather’s top customers. Based in the Midwest, Schloemer managed Rubin’s three store locations in Madison, WI, Milwaukee, MN and Chicago, IL. Garnering more than 20 years experience with Rubin’s Furniture, Elite Leather is delighted to tap into his retail perspective and expertise.
As Director of Retail Relations for Elite Leather, Schloemer’s primary objective is to develop programs that will strengthen Elite Leather’s relationships with retailers and support sales and marketing efforts. Initiatives include developing retail programs that resonate with current and prospective customers, consumers, retail sales and factory sales representatives; and, evaluating market trends for new product recommendations.
