Larry Karel, President of Karel Exposition Management, the nation's largest producer of regional furniture and accessory markets, announced that the Empire State Home Furnishings Representatives Association of Upstate New York will be the sponsor of the new Furniture Market in Syracuse, New York, June 8-9, 2010.This will be the first furniture show ever to be held in upstate New York in over 25 years.
Additionally, the Empire State Home Furnishings Representatives Association is planning a dinner for all attendees that will feature a nationally renowned furniture industry speaker. Details will be announced soon.
Karel also announced that Ashley Furniture Industries has confirmed exhibit space for “The First Syracuse Furniture Market.”
"Ashley Furniture has always been synonymous with quality and service and we are honored that they will have a presence," said Karel.
“With many small retailers no longer attending High Point or going to Las Vegas, we feel the time is right to initiate a regional show that can be attended by all of our retailers with minimal cost and time commitment. Among the vendors already committed to a large presence at the show is Ashley Furniture which will display its Signature Design by Ashley line,” said Marc Oleshansky, Ashley Furniture Industries, Senior Marketing Specialist.
Karel's sell-out 56th Edison show (February 7, 8, 9, 2010) is just around the corner and Ashley is again returning with 2300 square feet of exhibit space. The Edison Market is the largest of its kind with nearly 1,000 exhibit spaces.
“Ashley knows what KEM brings to the table,” said Karel. “They are committed to our Edison show and are ready to make new relationships in Syracuse.”
