Service Lamp announced that retailers' response at the recent High Point show to an array of LED products was bright and intense. The new, solid state lighting products include screw-in replacements for incandescent bulbs as well as complete, LED lighting fixtures.
Marc Kushner, president of Service Lamp, and Robert Horvath of Philips Lighting Company made a special trip to High Point to discuss LEDs with furniture chains.
“Solid state lighting is a very promising technology for the retail industry,” says Kushner, “We want to help our customers understand the benefits and limitations so they are prepared to use it when it makes sense.” Long life, low energy consumption, and good color rendering are characteristics of solid state lighting. The light generating chips contain no mercury.
