Does your company struggle with just what to put on your web pages?

Great website content might be sitting right under your nose. Untapped.

Your sales reps and customer service staff are your most valuable resource for content for your web pages.

Be sure to find out from staffers precisely what customers are saying. What is their need? What is their pain? What problem are they trying to solve?

Also ask your staff what are the objections customers have? How does your staff overcome them?

Even go so far as to write down exactly what both customers and sales staff say, as these might prove to be successful headlines.

With all of this information, address your customers’ needs and concerns in the copy of your site pages. Note: The focus is on the customer, not your company.

Then continue to keep an ear tuned to your sales and customer service staff.

When a new issue comes up, ask yourself, “Do we address that on our web pages?”

Easy Furniture Web Tip #52: By continuously listening to your sales and customer service staff, you can target your copy like a sharpshooter.
