With 300 showrooms in just two adjacent buildings and 70 temporary exhibitors at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, the San Francisco Mart’s Summer Market 2001 will be a fruitful show for retailers. Buyers will view new offerings in home furnishings and accessories, including the small office/home office category, as well as home entertainment, leather upholstery, motion, Asian imports, oak case goods, lighting and art. Market is also a great place to network and socialize with industry peers and manufacturers at special events sponsored by the SFM and various industry organizations. Friday, July 20 – Monday, July 23 WHFA Educational Seminars Held Daily Mart 2, Suite 705 The Western Home Furnishings Association holds free daily educational seminars on a variety of retailing topics including e-commerce, improving profitability, increasing traffic, inventory control, store design, and marketing, sales and advertising. He was editor-in-chief of Home magazine, authored a book entitled Found Objects and founded his own design communications business in 1992. He hosted TV’s first series on decorating and entertaining, Living Magazine. He also has served as chief decorating consultant for PBS’ This Old House and ABC’s Good Morning America, and has organized major editorial features for House Beautiful and HG. All Markets are held at the San Francisco Mart, 1355 Market Street, and the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, 99 Grove Street (across Market Street from the Mart).
