Shifman Mattresses, a leading manufacturer of luxury, hand-crafted mattresses, announced plans to debut two new mattress collections during the High Point Market on April 17-22. To complement its existing product line and to expand its offerings, Shifman will unveil its new Limited Edition Mattress Collection and its alternative bedding solution, Pure Comfort Latex Mattress Collection. Retailers attending the High Point Market can be among the first to see these new bedding options as well as other Shifman premium, handmade mattresses at its showroom location at Hamilton Court, 310 North Hamilton St., 3rd floor.
In addition to the new products, Shifman will showcase its existing line of premium, hand-crafted mattresses. Shifman employs techniques and design principles that have been used to craft its luxury, two-sided mattresses for more than 117 years. An exclusive hand-tufting technique locks each layer into place and eliminates shifting and bunching. The boxsprings are eight-way, hand-tied with hourglass-shaped upholstery coils and tied with imported Italian twine, providing the highest level of support and durability. Additionally, each mattress uses the finest domestic and international fabrics from Belgium and sets the standard for thread count, weight and strength. Each mattress is filled with up to 65 pounds of high-grade cotton to provide ultimate comfort.

Available only during the month of June, the Limited Edition mattress is a deluxe quilted mattress that features a tack and jump pattern. The mattress is two-sided for increased longevity and is available in both plush and firm. Shifman designed this mattress to provide its retailers with a more luxurious quilted offering at a value price point of $1,499 for a queen set. Retailers at the High Point Market will be among the first to experience this new offering and will be able to place orders for the Limited Edition. Shifman is launching this as a pilot program and will evaluate the success of the program to determine if the Limited Edition mattress will become a permanent part of the Shifman product line.
Alternative Bedding Solution – The Shifman Pure Comfort Latex Mattress Collection
The Pure Comfort Latex Mattress Collection has been designed with Shifman’s signature quality and craftsmanship to offer an alternative bedding solution for retailers. The mattress is designed using a variety of green products including the foam and sustainable forest lumber for the boxspring, making it environmentally friendly and hypoallergenic. The Pure Comfort Latex Collection features 7 ½’’ to 9 ½’’ of pure latex foam, which is among the highest quantity of latex foam available in the industry. Additionally, an all-coil boxspring with independent coil action maximizes comfort and durability. The new Pure Comfort Latex Mattress is available in three levels of firmness ranging from $2,199 to $3,999 for a queen set.
