Home Delivery America, a leader in white glove, in-home delivery logistics, announced that it has received GE’s 2009 Region Player of the Year award and also the 2009 Most Improved HD QOS (Home Delivery Quality of Service) 2009 vs. 2008 (+3.3%) award. 

The prestigious Region Player award honors the company who maintains the highest level of operational excellence in the region for an entire calendar year. “We are extremely pleased with this achievement,” said Richard Merians, CEO, Home Delivery America, Inc. “I couldn’t be more impressed with the commitment and dedication of everyone at this facility; they are truly a shining star within our organization.” 

The QOS award goes to the GE service provider that has most improved from the previous year’s scores. “We have worked very hard to develop better initiatives”, said Neil Henning, Director of Operations, Home Delivery America, Inc. “and we are honored to receive this great recognition for our efforts.”

Home Delivery America has been partnering with GE since 2000.  They make over 100,000 appliance deliveries for GE annually for new construction as well as residential homeowners through the Home Depot account.
