Milliken Carpet Retail Division has named April "Milliken Month," to promote the style and value of pattern carpet.The month-long promotion features Milliken sponsored savings on pattern broadloom and Capture(, an all-in-one maintenance system for carpet care. According to Rob Beistline, marketing manager, "Milliken Month" is designed to celebrate the value and style of pattern carpet as part of Milliken’s overall 2001 marketing efforts launched at Surfaces 2001. To participate in "Milliken Month," dealers must purchase the EasyChange™ display and color blanket, which showcases all of the colors available with its EasyChange™ customization program. "Milliken Month" includes POP signs and tags, CD advertising kit including newspaper/radio ads and discounts on all broadloom and Capture purchases. Launched at Surfaces 2001, EasyChange™ revolutionizes the process of customers designing their own carpet like never before, while also providing extensive new benefits for retailers. This new custom system for Milliken’s broadloom products allows retailers to satisfy every customer’s need when it comes to style or selection of pattern carpet. It also maximizes retailers’ floor space, providing an infinite number of possibilities with no increase in space requirements. Unlike other companies, which require 40 to 100 yards for a custom sample, Milliken’s EasyChange™ offers customers a sample of their carpet with no minimum order. The EasyChange™ system provides the highest level of personal service with its unique image review process. Customers choose color and or base changes they prefer to the Milliken design professionals. Within 48 hours, they will receive a computerized picture, or actual custom sample of the custom carpet that the designer has created for their unique setting.
