WHFA Sets Date For 2002 Conference in Hawaii

The Western Home Furnishings Association Board of Directors has finalized the date and location for the 2002 Managerial Conference: May 5-7, 2002, at the Sheraton Maui on Kaanapali Beach. "After rigorous negotiations, the Sheraton Maui was selected as the 2002 site," explains Giff Gates, Gates Furniture, WHFA Conference Committee Chairman. "The Sheraton has just completed multi-million dollar renovations and looks gorgeous, that along with it’s location on the beach and being walking distance to so many other amenities, helped finalize our decision." 300-plus retail home furnishings owners and managers along with manufacturers and industry professionals are expected to attend this annual conference and tradeshow. The conference agenda and events are still in the planning stages, but will sure to be a blend of authentic Hawaiian culture and excitement with a generous amount of casual networking, hard-hitting industry issues and information. Plan to join with the industry in Maui in 2002.
