E.S. Kluft & Co., maker and distributor of the Aireloom and Kluft brand mattresses announced that it has added 25 % more space to its Rancho Cucamonga manufacturing facility to accommodate the company’s steady growth and expanding product line.
Recently, the company leased a 30,000 square foot warehouse across the street from their existing facility and is using the new space for the manufacturing and upholstering of mattress foundations, including the eight-way hand-tied box springs.
“Our current plant reached capacity,” said E. S. Kluft & Co. CEO and President Earl Kluft. “With the addition of a separate foundation factory, we are able to work more efficiently. My company is growing at an impressive rate and I took the new facility to keep pace with the burgeoning demand of our products.”
By moving the foundation construction operation into its own space, the existing 127,000 facility now has capacity for a larger mattress production run and can accommodate the company’s diversified, product offerings. Additionally, the move allows Kluft to warehouse products for key retailers and to have inventory on hand to meet customer demand.
Moreover, Kluft added a second sewing shift and hired artisans in anticipation for increased sales. “We are readying ourselves for double digit growth in the second quarter. These changes ensure we will have the tools in place to make us successful,” added Kluft.
