King Koil Introduces "Turn-Free Design"™

This Fall, King Koil is rolling-out its ‘Turn-Free Design’ program. King Koil introduced its first one-sided products over a year ago. "We have developed an expanded one-sided bedding line in response to recent market demand", Kehnast revealed. King Koil has also created a complete support package of marketing elements to help retailers with advertising, display and sales training. "We presented the ‘Turn-Free Design’ project to our licensee-marketing committee in May and they gave us the go-ahead to complete the program," Michael V. Kehnast, President King Koil, USA said. Kehnast told us the entire ‘Turn-Free Design’ concept will be introduced to King Koil licensees at their annual Management Meeting in Florida this October. "Timing is everything", Kehnast said. "We wanted to enable our factories the opportunity to market ‘Turn-Free Design’ for all of 2001; the program is ready. We're right on target'! ‘Turn-Free Design’ has been created with flexibility in mind. A total of 10 models are included in the program with price points that range from $399 to $1599 queen. "We have successfully marketed high end one-sided merchandise for the last 18 months", said Kehnast. "In fact, the category has been one of the sales highlights of the last two years. It offers an exceptional average unit price, terrific sales velocity and retailer acceptance," added Kehnast.
