E. S. Kluft & Co. announced it will debut the “Celebration” mattress in honor of the 70th Anniversary of its Aireloom brand. The distinctive mattress is an addition to Aireloom’s Rip Van Winkle line, which historically had been the brand’s best seller. The new mattress features a rich charcoal color covering embossed with an elegant gossamer silvery ribbon design that thematically highlights the commemoration of the milestone of the company’s legacy.
“We needn’t look any further than the popularity of “Mad Men” that Americans are in love with the retro look of the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s. Those were the company’s heyday years when Frank Sinatra, Rita Hayworth, John Wayne and Ronald Reagan were rumored to have slept on Aireloom mattresses,” said President and CEO Earl Kluft. “By bringing this mattress back consumers can have an air of Hollywood’s glamour days in their bedroom.”
The stylish darker color of the Celebration boreder offers the same curb appeal that Kluft brings to all its mattress designs and further distinguishes it from the sea of white rectangles on the retail floor.
“While the mattress is unlike any other on the market, the hand-crafted body of the Celebration is made with the same time-proven design and performance our mattresses have been constructed with for the past 70 years. Customers know the Aireloom name is synonymous with expert craftsmanship and attention to detail,” said Kluft.
The Celebration features the same unparalleled quality of hand- stitched side panels and inner tufting and other qualities of the line, such as 40 pounds of cotton layering, enhanced reflex foam and latex, a sturdy center, European top and bottom and eight-way hand-tied box spring construction. Models in the line will be available for limited distribution and priced at $2,900, $3,900 and $4,900 in queen.
