Recent PrimeTime! Has Largest Furniture Display In Show's History

Earlier this month, Nationwide Marketing Group (NMG) presented their largest Furniture Smart exhibit with over 30,000 sq. ft. of furniture and accessories on display at PrimeTime! in National Harbor, Maryland. Independent dealers from across the country attended the buying show and conference looking for the best deals in furniture, appliances and electronics.

Over 1,200 items were sold in a fun and fast paced 45 minute auction before the show floor opened. Hundreds filled the room to get their share of products at deep discounts at Millions in Minutes by Furniture Smart. Furniture Smart is the furniture division of the Nationwide Marketing Group buying and marketing organization.

We had phenomenal deals at the auction in National Harbor. With products selling for up to 80% off cost, now thats a deal! said Bill Bazemore, Executive Director of Furniture Smart. The dealers cant get these prices anywhere else and the event gives our vendors a unique opportunity to be in a room full of furniture dealers who are looking to buy. Its a great way to start PrimeTime!

On the show floor, the Furniture Smart exhibit served up a smorgasbord of quality vendors who offered even more outstanding values in furniture. Some of the new vendors included LaCrosse, Powell, Lifestyle Solutions, United Furniture Industries/Manufacturer of Simmons Upholstery, South Sea Rattan and Fairfax Home Furnishings.

LaCrosse Furniture out of LaCrosse, Kansas exhibited at PrimeTime! for the first time showcasing their diverse line of furniture products. We decided to partner with Nationwide because they are the more aggressive independent buying group in the industry, said George Rutledge of LaCrosse Furniture. The response has been good at the show, we opened several new accounts and plan to exhibit at the next PrimeTime! in Vegas.

Banner Marketing displayed their brand new circular program. The program offers furniture dealers 100% customizable print circulars. Dealers must stay in front of the consumer by using all areas of marketing whether its radio, TV, internet or print, said Bazemore.

According to Bazemore, appliance and electronics dealers were also shopping the Furniture Smart exhibit. As the market continues to change, consumers are beginning to expect a one-stop shopping experience. Bedding is the most natural progression for these dealers because bedding drives traffic, has low inventory dollars, high turnover and high margin and makes a tremendous amount of sense.
