Biltmore® announced that it is expanding its home furnishings offering at the October High Point Market with new wood accents and rugs from manufacturing partners Encore and Capel Rugs.

Building on a successful introduction from the 2009 fall market, Encore will expand its Gentleman's Pursuit collection with several richly appointed wood accent pieces, featuring authentic details inspired by George Vanderbilt's unique sense of style.

Capel Rugs will debut a new rug collection, Arrondelle, inspired by architectural details found on Biltmore Estate or in Biltmore House.

"We anticipate great sales at this market with these beautiful new products from Encore and Capel," said Tim Rosebrock, vice president and general manager of Biltmore's licensing division. "Buyers will appreciate Biltmore's continued commitment to quality and the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitality."

Among Encore's introductions at High Point, marketgoers will see adaptations that translate the styling of original antiques into desks, mirrors, accent tables and other functional pieces. Encore's eclectic designs have roots in America, Spain, England and the Netherlands.

From Capel Rugs, marketgoers will find new colorways in best-selling collections, plus two distinct rug patterns debuting as part of the Arrondelle line.

Capel Rugs shows in Space 112 of Market Square. Encore shows at 301 N. Hamilton St.
