Julie Nixon Eisenhower, editor, author and public speaker, will discuss “The Market and the Economy: A Woman’s Perspective” during the WithIt breakfast seminar on Friday, April 4, 2003 She will discuss how women effect and are affected by our industry and how in turn they influence the industry. Julie Nixon Eisenhower, is an active participant in the home furnishings industry. As a director of Foamex International, Mrs. Eisenhower helps manage the world’s leading producer of comfort cushioning for use in bedding, furniture, carpet cushion and nine other end-use industries. She is the Chair of the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships, serves on the board of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and in an advisory capacity at the Nixon Center, a bipartisan foreign policy think-tank in Washington, DC. She also serves on the board of the Eisenhower Foundation at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and is active with the Eisenhower Medical Center.
