Dutailer Wins JPMA Innovation Award in Las Vegas

Dutailier the manufacturer of quality gliders and ottomans in many styles and price ranges announced that its new Auto-Lock system has won the prestigious Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association (JPMA) innovation award. The prize was awarded on October 11th at the ABC Kid’s Expo in Las Vegas, a trade show pertaining to all maternity products.

Dutailier’s Auto-Lock system makes it easier for a mom holding a baby, or for that matter an elderly person, to get in and out of a glider chair. With this mechanism the chair remains locked until the user’s weight is transferred to the seatback – reducing the risk of premature gliding or waking baby. When getting out of the glider, the Auto-Lock is engaged as soon as it senses any weight transfer to the glider’s arms. Another benefit is that the glider remains locked when not in use, crating a safer environment for kids.

Established in 1977 in St-Pie, Quebec, Dutailier manufactures high end gliders and ottomans. Since 2003, Dutailer also specializes in children’s bedroom furniture.
