Gorman’s Home Furnishings And Interior Design announced the addition of interior designer Gary Vermeulen to its Southfield showroom.
Vermeulen brings with him more than three decades of interior design experience and a passionate dedication to the industry. During the course of his career, he has been employed in the interior design field with companies such as J.L. Hudson Co., Dayton Hudson, Marshall Fields and Macy’s.
As an interior designer with Gorman’s, Vermeulen works to create a comfortable high style environment for his clients, regardless of whether their tastes are contemporary or traditional. Vermeulen’s work dazzles his clients with creative combinations and an exciting use of color.
“Gary has been an outstanding addition to the Gorman’s family of interior designers,” says Tom Lias, president and COO of Gorman’s. “The joy and experience he brings to each new client is incredible. No matter how big or small their design questions, Gary is there to provide them with answers and help make their house a home.”
Vermeulen graduated in 1967 from Michigan State University with a bachelor of science in interior design. He currently lives in Northville with his wife as empty nesters.
