Kimball Home Taps Industry Veteran, Sets 2003 Goals

Kimball Home will focus on finding the perfect fit when it comes to matching its quality, value-driven products with the right retailers. To help accomplish this goal, Kimball Home has added a furniture industry veteran with nearly 30 years of experience to its sales team. Jim Dobbins has been hired as Director of Sales and will manage the east and south portions of the country. He will join current Kimball Home Director of Sales Tom Nelson to lead the sales force. Nelson will focus his attention oil the central and west regions. "I have a. tremendous amount of faith in Jim," said Stan Sapp, 'Vice President and General Manager of Kimball Home. "We worked together at various times in the past, and I know from experience that he can help take Kimball Home to the next level Dobbins comes to Kimball Home from Aspen Furniture Designs, Inc., where he was Vice President of Sales and was directly responsible for creating successful relationships with many top retailers. "His Specialty is helping to develop and foster long term partnership-type relationships with the right retailers, and that's what Kimball Home is all about,” Sapp said, adding that that “Dobbins' hiring is Part of Kimball Home's new strategy. "The products are ready, with lots more coming in April. It is now time to focus on finding right dealers and providing them with furniture at a value that is right for their customers.
