Marco Confalone New President CEO of Leda

Marco L. Confalone has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Leda Furniture. His brother, Sergio Confalone, now Vice President, is responsible for manufacturing, engineering and purchasing as well as the Leda Contract Furniture Division. For 35 years, Leda, a family-owned corporation, has manufactured high-end wooden dining room, bedroom and occasional furniture. Chief Executive Officer, Lino Confalone, founder of the company, will remain active in new product development as well as manufacturing activities, Said Marco L. Confalone, "In order to meet the vast opportunities and challenges ofglobalization, we will soon add senior marketing and sales management talent to the Leda team." Marco's corporate experience has included hands-on involvement with sales, administration and general management, while Sergio's focus has been in the manufacturing process, including wood engineering, production management and health and safety. Leda has permanent showrooms both at the Toronto factory and at High Point, North Carolina.
