The IHFC building announced that Elite Leather will return to High Point’s IHFC Building this April. Their new home is located in IHFC’s Commerce Wing, on the 6th floor, #C-661. Elite Leather’s new space, over 16,000 square feet in size, will house their Elite Leather and Passport Home furniture collections.
Buyers and press will have the opportunity to view new leather upholstery options, fabric upholstery options, and styles from Elite Leather’s signature collection and Passport Home’s import collection. Elite Leather President Michael A. Galardo states, “We have been showing at High Point for over 20 years now, but this will be our first time showing in the IHFC building since 1990. We’re happy to have found such a great space that’s not only convenient for our buyers and spacious enough for our lines, but also the perfect environment for showcasing our designs. Everyone here on the Elite Leather team looks forward to showing at High Point’s largest and most prestigious building.”
Founded in 1959, Elite Leather has grown to become of one America’s largest furniture manufacturers and remains a family-run business. Elite Leather holds two design patents- on their innovative Peninsula sectional and Aries recliner. Most recently, Elite Leather’s President, Michael A. Galardo and his son and Product Design Manager, Michael F. Galardo won the 2010 Pinnacle Award for their Lugano sectional design. Michael F. Galardo received a Pinnacle Award in 2006 for his Pasadena sofa design.
