Piedmont Furniture Club To Hold 25th Annual Golf Tournament Honoring Fred & Jeff Murrow

Golf Outing will benefit Brenner Children’s Hospital

The Piedmont Furniture Club, the local Piedmont North Carolina division of the Virginia/Carolinas Chapter of the International Home Furnishings Representatives Association, announced that on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 it will hold its 25th annual golf tournament at the Colonial Country Club in Thomasville NC. 

The Piedmont Club provides industry reps with local networking, services and events throughout the year.

This year the Piedmont Furniture Club will honor Fred and Jeff Murrow of Murrow’s Transfer with a donation to Brenner Children’s Hospital.  The donation will specifically target Pediatric Oncology Research.  Fred and Jeff Murrow have been supporters of IHFRA for many years, and participate regularly in local Piedmont Furniture Club events and social activities.  Fred and Jeff Murrow are both battling cancer and have asked that the donation in their honor from Piedmont Furniture Club’s golf tournament be given to Brenner Children’s Hospital to aid cancer research for years to come.
