Steelcase Recognized as Top Office Furniture Manufacturer in Contract Magazine's 2003 Subscriber Survey

Steelcase Inc.an international work effectiveness company whose offerings enhance the quality of people's lives in work environments, announced that it received the top ranking in seven categories in the 2003 Contract Subscriber Survey.
The survey sample consisted of 900 interior designers, architects, and furniture dealers randomly asked to name the top manufacturers they considered when purchasing or recommending products in a variety of categories. Themanufacturers were judged on the aesthetics, dependability, value, and customer service associated with their product lines for each category.
Steelcase was ranked the top brand in the categories of casegoods, computer support furniture, conference tables, desks and credenzas, furniture systems, filing and storage, guest/occasional seating and stacking, ganging seating. Steelcase also ranked among the top three manufacturers in the accessories, ergonomic seating, moveable walls and training tables categories.
