The Unfinished Furniture Association (UFA) announced the location of the 2003 National Convention & Trade Show at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis on June 1-3. This year’s theme, “Gear Up for Indy” ties in nicely to this exciting racing city. The show kicks off with a free Education Day for retailers on May 31. Keynote speaker, seminars and round table discussions are some of the many events scheduled for Education Day. Highlights of the show include a new product focus area, special offers, networking opportunities, welcome reception and more. The 2003 National Convention & Trade Show offers a unique and valuable experience for industry professionals. “We’re excited for this years show and think it will be one of the most attended shows yet,” said Sylvia Thompson, UFA president. “We expect nearly 400 manufacturer booths and more than eighty-five percent of surveyed retailers plan to attend.” UFA is a national trade association of more than 650 retailers, manufacturers and sales representatives in the United Sates and Canada whose mission is to support the growing unfinished furniture industry.
