Bombay Elects Paul J. Raffin to Board of Directors

The Bombay Company, Inc. announced that Paul J. Raffin has been elected to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors. Mr. Raffin is Executive Vice President of Merchandising of Express, Inc., a $2.2 billion division of Limitedbrands, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio. Express operates over 1,100 men's and women's fashion stores. "We are very pleased to have the opportunity to add someone with Paul's extensive knowledge and experience to the Bombay Board. His passion for retail and strong merchandising background makes him ideal to help shape the future success of Bombay," said Nigel Travis, Chairman of the Governance and Nominations Committee of the Bombay Board. Mr. Raffin has been with Express since 1997. He started his retail career in 1975 at Bloomingdale's in various positions until 1981. He continued with merchandising positions at Izod Lacoste (Division of General Mills), Merona Sport (Division of Oxford Industries) and Tricots St. Rafael. From 1986 to 1994 he served as Vice President and General Merchandising Manager and then President of Colours and Coloursport Division of Colours By Alexander Julian (Division of Collections Clothing Corporation). He also served as President of Gant (Division of Crystal Brands) from 1994 to 1995 and President, Mail Order for J. Crew from 1995 to 1997. Mr. Raffin obtained his marketing degree from Villanova University and resides in New Albany, Ohio.
