Robert Burnette Promoted To Senior Vice President Of Corporate Administration At Badcock

W.S. Badcock Corporation, one of the largest furniture retailers in the United States, announced today that Robert B. Burnette has been promoted to the position of senior vice president of corporate administration. Previously, Burnette served as Badcock’s vice president of corporate administration and property. Burnette will continue to be based at Badcock’s corporate headquarters in Mulberry, Fla. Burnette came to Badcock in 1985 as regional personnel associate. In this position he served as a recruiter and representative to distribution centers and retail stores, while also gaining experience in the areas of security and safety. In 1989, Burnette was promoted risk manager and handled all property liability, medical insurance and worker’s compensation. Burnette is a native of the Lakeland area and graduated from Florida Southern College with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, concentrating on marketing, personnel and financial management.
