Las Vegas Design Center announced that high-end rug and home accessory designer Liora Manné will open a year-round showroom in conjunction with Trans-Ocean in January 2012.
Trans-Ocean, a New York-based company, has been a leading importer and distributor of area rugs since 1906. The company has had a partnership with designer Liora Manné since 1997 and will open a new 1,814 square foot showroom in the center’s Building A, Suite A-214 to showcase the Liora Manné lifestyle brand, including Lamontage rugs, fabrics and home accessories.
“We’re very excited to welcome Trans-Ocean and its Liora Manné line to the Las Vegas Design Center,” said Randy Wells, vice president of LVDC. “Through partnering with great brands in the industry like Trans-Ocean and Liora Manné, Las Vegas Design Center is able to offer exceptional products through its showrooms to retailers, designers and consumers. They will be an excellent addition to our 40-plus showroom lineup.”
"This is an excellent opportunity for the Liora Manné brand distributed by Trans-Ocean to grow into the west coast market,” said Charley Peck, president of Trans-Ocean. “By joining the Las Vegas Design Center and opening a year-round showroom, we not only anchor our product for buyers during the bi-annual Las Vegas Market, but also have a resource for west coast retailers, designers and consumers anytime. This move is an excellent option for us to continue to grow and succeed in the industry.”
In addition to traditional wool and synthetic tufted and machine woven “Everywhere” rugs designed by Liora Manné, collections will also include Lamontage rugs, textiles, decorative wall art and tabletop accessories. Another brand that will be featured in the new showroom is the Tommy Bahama Outdoor rug collection. The company has a complimentary showroom at the International Home Furnishings Center in High Point, N.C.
