Sealy Executive Retires After More Than 40 Years of Service

After more than 40 years of dedication and leadership, David November has announced his retirement from Sealy Mattress Company of New Jersey in Paterson, New Jersey. November joined the company in 1959 as a sales representative. In 1964, he was appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing. For more than 35 years, November has provided invaluable leadership to Sealy's only remaining domestic mattress licensee. "David's work has been instrumental both at Paterson and Sealy, Inc.," said Walter Hertz, President/CEO of Sealy Mattress Co. in New Jersey. "His many years of service and dedication have helped make the company all that it is today." Frank Fleischman will assume the role of Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Sealy Mattress Company of New Jersey on November 1, 2000. Fleischman is currently the District Sales Manager for Sealy in the New York City/Connecticut market and has been with Sealy, Inc. since 1992. "We are extremely excited that Frank is joining us," adds Hertz. "We know he will be as successful here as he has been developing Sealy and Stearns & Foster in New York. He is the perfect person to step into this key position. It is a credit to the strength of the entire Sealy organization that key positions involving Paterson and Sealy, Inc. could be filled internally." Additionally, Steve Rusing has been named District Sales Manager in the New York market for Sealy, Inc. Rusing joined Sealy, Inc. in 1992 and has been the Kansas District Sales Manager since 1996.
