Leather Center Holdings Inc., a leading manufacturer of made-to-order leather seating, announced it is moving its headquarters and manufacturing facility to a new 250,000 square foot location at the southwest corner of Plano Parkway and FM 544/Parker. Development for the new facility is in the planning stages, and the company says it plans to complete its move by 2002. The company currently occupies approximately 150,000 square feet in Dallas near the intersection of Beltline and Marsh. "It's amazing to think that just 18 years ago we started with a dream, a credit card and a sewing machine," said Juan Leon, president and CEO of the company that currently employs more than 700 people with operations in 31 states.
