RightLinx announced the release of its newest product suite, RightLinx 2.001, comprised of Order Management & Fulfillment, Sales Force Automation, Retail & Distribution Management and Electronic Cataloging modules. The two modules, Order Management & Fulfillment and Retail & Distribution Management provide tremendous efficiencies in managing customers and distribution partners. In today's environment, a company's success depends on an integrated solution that seamlessly links order entry, order status, and account status to the entire fulfillment process. This solution can also provide visibility for customers and managers-as well as for suppliers or distributors for the entire fulfillment process. An online tool, RightLinx 2.001 supports members of the home furnishings market with accurate order status and access to client account information. The Sales Force Automation module extends a reliable, effective and integrated environment for managing client relationships and more importantly, sales information. The RightLinx 2.001 Sales Force Automation suite supports account information; such as customer data, purchasing trends, and historical buying patterns. The application also includes reporting and forecasting tools. Sales reps can monitor account performance and receive analysis by account or territory. Daily downloads assist in defining critical customer issues and business status. The module includes a client piece such that the information can be queried off line. Paul Risen, RightLinx COO, commented "2001 gives access to users who need the information the most, the retailers and the sales reps. Our software can reduce the cost of customer service from $ 1.65 per minute through conventional means to less than a dime per minute. Couple this with the fact that retailers have a tendency to need more information over the weekend and during time zones that are not always in sync with the operating hours of the manufacturers. It's just make good business sense." Risen added, "The comprehensive suite can be licensed as a complete system, or individually installed on a per module basis. A customer can select Order Management and Fulfillment, Retail and Distribution Management, and the Electronic Cataloging modules and have a customer extranet out of the box." The Import Logistics Module provides manufacturers with a comprehensive view their supplier's processes. The emergence of the new economy and an explosion in the number of companies with global trading partners has created a pressing need to have visibility of those overseas partners operations. Import Logistics permits manufacturers to communicate much more rapidly with their vendors. Manufacturers can configure the application based on the specifics of the product being tracked and their relationship with the supplier. "It's exciting to offer an application that addresses the two most critical factors facing retailers and manufacturers today, importing and product cost. The Import Logistics Module not only gives manufacturers an exact cost on a per SKU basis but offers visibility into a process that may be taking place on the other side of the world", Risen commented.
