Oriental Weavers of America will sneak preview their new Raymond Waites line at the Home Textiles Show in New York. The full line will be launched at a party in High Point Oct. 18th through the 27th during the International Home Furnishings Market. The High Point party will be held in the OWA showroom from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at 210 E. Commerce Street. Waites will be on-hand for photographs and interviews. The Waites’ collection will be woven in two different constructions: heatset olefin and Nylene, OWA’s patent-pending yarn system. The Nylene is a polypropylene and nylon blend. This one-of-a-kind collection will feature a bank of exciting, vibrant colors and patterns that reflect a sense of style and a love of creativity. The designs meet a price point that is affordable for even the most selective consumer. All of the patterns will be woven in 10 and 12 colors. Suggested retails for the Waites’ products will be in the range of $299 to $349. Waites, who is synonymous with the very best in American design, established Raymond Waites Design, Inc. in 1994 to create beautiful and innovative products for the home. Focusing on consumers who love abundance and class, Waites is stimulated by the ever-changing world of design. He is known not only for his creativity, but also for his knack for details. He has been at the forefront of interior fashion since the mid-1970s when he developed and popularized the "country" look. He has continued to draw inspiration from the American and global heritage. He mixes the sophisticated with the humble to create timeless, refreshing looks with the casual elegance that is his signature. The partnership between OWA and Waites is a giant step forward in the world of home fashions.
