GERS Retail Systems to Present Advanced POS during Fall International Home Furnishings Market

GERS Retail Systems, a leading supplier of business solutions for the home furnishings industry, will premiere the latest version of its retail offerings here during the Fall International Home Furnishings Market, October 17-24. GERS will present Customer1 version 1.0.3, its enhanced, stand-alone, “point-of-service” solution that connects customers, orders, and inventory via multiple devices and interfaces over multiple communication channels for improved customer service and ease of use. GERS will demonstrate Customer1 and other new features for its business solutions at its permanent booth on the 12th floor of the International Home Furnishings Center. Since introducing Customer1 to the home furnishings industry last spring, GERS has added new functions designed to help retailers sell more merchandise. Enhancements include a new user interface at the point of sale and open order tools that enable the retailer to capture customer information, credit card information for processing by third party vendors, and check authorization to accelerate checkout times. Version 1.0.3 also enables users to enter an open order and schedule delivery. With its new return feature, Customer1 can process even and uneven exchanges. For additional security, manager approvals can also be added to allow returns and price overrides.
